Atheris Rifle 6.5 Grendel Barrel & Bolt

Quality is phenomenal, detail and figment was perfect but most importantly the function is flawless and it is a tack driver. Getting 1/2 MOA three shot groups at 100 yards is not a problem. Haven’t stretched it out yet but so far I’m impressed, I figure it is more accurate than I can hold.

This is a beautifully machined fluted and muzzle threaded barrel. Attached YHM QD muzzle brake, brake timed perfectly with zero shims, that does not happen by accident. Did typical barrel break in procedure, this barrels shoots 1/2" three shot groups @ 100 yd consistently. Couldn't be happier.

After inspecting it with a borescope, i can tell you the quality is extremely great! i have had fn barrels that had more inconsistencies than this barrel did. i have not shot this particular barrel but i have had one before and the accuracy is great. it all depends on the shooter as the hardware is more than capable. going to get atheris barrels from here on out. truly the best i have seen and to even beat big companies like fn in their quality says something

Atheris Rifle is selling lasers. My last three groups at 100 yards PPU 120 grain factory .487”, Hornady Black 123 grain factory .645”, Hornady ELD 123 grain hand loads .390”. Worth every hard earned cent! I got about 150 rounds on the rifle now. Awesome barrel!

I normally don't do reviews, this barrel needs to be heard about! Out of 7 different barrel manufacturers I've used for AR platforms, this one is FAR superior! The machine work is flawless, the headspace was perfect, the chamber was tight and clean. After zeroing , the very first 3 round group was .680", the second was .421" the third was .260" all groups were with factory ammo at 100 yards. That's almost unheard of, especially with factory 123gr "hunting" ammo. My hats off to Atheris!! I'll definitely be buying from them again! I wish they would offer a .308 or something along those lines!

Still in the break-in phase but super impressed with accuracy, well within 1 moa.

The barrel is great, I have only shot it out to 50 yards on paper but I took it hog hunting last night and shot about a 200 lb hog at 80 yards and nailed it right where I was aiming. I was getting far below moa @ 50 yards and can't wait to stretch that distance out see how it performs but I expect it to be exceptional.

Even before I placed an order the customer service was speedy and informative. After I placed my order, the customer service was excellent and they were quick to answer any questions I had. I received the barrel just about exactly when they said I would, and now I am just waiting for a few more parts from Atheris and a few other places to finish my project. I can't wait to finish it and shoot it to see how the barrel performs.

Bought this barrel for a precision build. It passes the eye-test for sure. Have not finished the build yet so I can’t say how well it shoots yet. I’ll come back and let you know after I throw some rounds down range.

Barrel and bolt worked amazing dropped in the barrel took it straight to the firing range and put 60 rounds no jamming no misfires I am extremely satisfied and will use atheris again For my next build
