Atheris Rifle 6.5 Grendel Fluted Barrel & Bolt

I haven't had the barrel very long. It replaced a 24" BCA barrel .So far I have only put about 30 rounds through it but I am already getting 3/4" groups at 100 yards so can't complain!

Ordered this barrel for a Grendel build that I will assemble for accuracy. The barrel will go into a Aero Precision upper that will have the receiver extension lapped to ensure a flat surface for the CNC'd barrel extension to mate to then the extension shimmed to take up any chance of wobble. I'll let the folks at Atheris know how everything going and what kind of accuracy i achieved. Communication with the company was great. In a time that barrels are few and far between, this one was in stock AND shipping was super-fast! One of the best kept secrets around!
